An Adventure Game on Privacy and Data Security
The KryptoKids – a group of young detectives and tech enthusiasts – face a new digital threat: mysterious black hat hackers have stolen massive amounts of private data. In this interactive adventure, players step into the role of white hat hackers, follow digital traces, and help the KryptoKids expose the criminals. The mission: protect personal data and defend the fundamental right to privacy.
More than an adventure
KryptoKids and the Data Krakens is a serious game for children aged 10 and above. It introduces core concepts of privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity in a playful and engaging way. Through thrilling gameplay, participants learn what data security means, how cybercrime works, and why privacy is essential in a digital society.
Why it matters
In today’s world, personal data is constantly collected, shared, and exploited. Children are especially vulnerable to manipulation and surveillance. Social media, online platforms, and apps shape their daily lives – often without an awareness of the risks. This project raises awareness early on and empowers children to critically reflect on their digital behavior and protect themselves online.
